Where the Salento meets Venice
In the town of Latiano on the ancient Via Appia lies the Luxury Relais Donnenzo. A noble venetian style palace built in the early 1900s to satisfy the desire of the noblewoman Maria d'Ippolito Guadalupi who loved Venice.
The exclusive historical residence located in the heart of the high Salento, the cradle of the Messapican (V century a.c.) and Frederickian (XII century bc), welcomes it's guests in refined suites obtained from the scrupulous restoration of the old stables. As a tribute to the important memory of the place, the rooms were dedicated to the royals of the Messapian era, while the rooms of the palace dedicated to Frederick II, “Puer Apuliae”, and his 4 wives.
Ancient, ever blooming gardens, surround the noble residence offering shade and quiet for a pleasant break in the nature of the place.
Donnenzo has a terrace equipped for relaxation with a wellness area, solarium, hydropool and a bar dedicated to leisure and exclusive events. In addition, a wine corner for wine tastings, a reading room, a breakfast room, a living room and a concierge service to customise and enrich your stay with exclusive tailor-made experiences.
The strategic position of Latiano, in the center of Puglia and just twenty minutes from Brindisi airport, makes Donnenzo an excellent location with easy access to every corner of this wonderful, historic, cultural land. The main cities and tourist destinations are 45 minutes from Latiano and you can easily choose between the Ionian or Adriatic Seas (according to the winds or the mood).
